Early Learning Services
At Pembina Hills Public Schools we have an Early Learning classroom at Barrhead Elementary, Busby Elementary School, Dunstable, Eleanor Hall School, Pembina North Community School, Swan Hills and Westlock Elementary School. We also support our community preschools that our in our school division. We are active with Parent Links in our community and have formed a partnership with Family Support with Children with Disabilities (FSCD).
The Early Learning Teacher in each school location determines programming opportunities.
Children must be three (3) years of age by September 1st to attend this program, and approved for Program Unit Funding through Pembina Hills Student Service Department. (or as determined by availability in the program)
Children must have specific programming needs which are best met in this small, structured, intensive program. The typically developing classmates will be attending on designated days.
Transportation to and from the program is primarily the parents’ responsibility, but can be discussed with the Teacher/Coordinator, and Pembina Hills Student Services Department.
Regular parent learning opportunities are provided to enhance parent knowledge and program participation
